Everything you create, whether a quick sketch or a highly involved painting captivates me.
When I first happened upon your work, it was this series that took my breath. So good, so very good, far beyond the initial hold that made me pause.
The *art* of your art is the emotion you capture from others. Ingested, the emotion melds with your own, mixing together until it’s expelled and redefined through the tip of your brush. The end result is this. Like a letter touched by a thousand hands before reaching it’s destination.

These are disgusting…which is a breath of fresh air in an over-saturated art world. It is often the monsterous that helps to define what appeals to us, what to protect.

Thank you for your insightful comment. What we react to so deeply can also share deep insight about ourselves. I don’t mean to create grotesque imagery, I just mean to bring to light that which is much too suppressed, and by default this happens to be unknown territory for some. I am creating a second part to this series at the moment, I hope you’ll check back in to see what comes of it.
